Descriptive Text

DESCRIPTIVE

Social function/Purpose: To describe a particular person, place or thing. (Untuk mendeskripsikan seseorang, benda atau tempat tertentu).

Generic strutures of text: 

1. Identification : To identify phenomenon to be described.(Benda/orang/tempat yang di deskripsikan).
2. Description : To describe parts, qualities, characteristics.(Mendeskripsikan/menggambarkan ciri-ciri benda, orang/tempat).

Language focus of text : Simple Present Tense (Verb-1)

Notes:

This text only describes about the phisical feature of thing/person/plece. Rather than describing about habit or habitat feature.(Teks ini hanya menggambarkan tentang ciri-ciri fisik dari benda/orang/tempat. Bukan menggambarkan tentang ciri-ciri kebiasaan, atau ciri-ciri habitat).
